This Christmas brings us two analyses of our approach to God’s story: Father Brendan asks whether we seek a fairytale or God himself, while Father Justin reminds us that our personal stories will never be complete without God.

In “Christmas and Adoration,” Father Brendan translates Hans Urs von Balthasar’s reflection about entering into the truth of the Trinity as we meditate upon the Christmas miracle. Meanwhile, Father Justin offers a New Year’s medication on divine revelation through the lens of the Dave Matthews Band in “And If You Listen Very Hard.”
